QT Talk announced that Mr. Sean Trepeta will join the company’s Board of Directors. Bringing with him significant experience in telecommunications, he will also serve as consultant to the company, helping to develop strategic alliances with agents and organizations who can bring QT Talk to the next level of growth.

Mr. Trepeta will also be working with QT Talk’s senior management to develop the internet-based sales arm of the company. By developing its agent and customer-friendly internet portal, QT Talk plans to open up new sales avenues for the company.

"We’re very pleased Sean is going to join us and help us explore new ways to direct traffic to QT Talk,” says Eric Ramos, VP of Sales for QT Talk. "With his input and experience, we hope to gain access to new brokers, sales forces, and agents, all of which will ultimately drive revenue.”

Mr. Trepeta brings with him an extensive background in telecommunications. He was co-founder and president of Opex Communications, Inc., a leading telecommunication service provider located in Chicago, IL that specialized in traditional long-distance, wireless, and dedicated services. Through his innovative and aggressive internet-based retail sales programs, he developed their sales to a run rate of $48 million annually, until he sold the company in 2007. Before co-founding Opex, Mr. Trepeta was responsible for developing and implementing the Agent and Carrier divisions of USBG. Prior to this, he was with MCI Telecommunications and NYNEX in New York City.

While Mr. Trepeta plans to work with QT Talk to introduce the company to new opportunities, he also hopes to develop new pricing programs, broadening the companies appeal to its retail base.
